Luminous Carpet

Current trunk and cargo lighting typically consists of a single source incandescent bulb overhead or in side trim areas. IAC has developed a solution to the traditional dark, low visibility area, particularly during nighttime use. Following interior lighting trends toward LED or EL technologies, IAC’s luminous carpet offers a solution in which carpet fibers are treated with pigments that are luminous under UV light to improve visibility in trunk and cargo applications. This treatment can be applied to any carpet application.
